Few people have shaped Cascadia’s evolution as directly as Shirazeh. During her time with the company, she has contributed across the complete development lifecycle — from land assembly and feasibility through design, approvals, construction, sales, occupancy and customer care.
Most notably, she served as the principal development, project and construction lead for INNOVA, guiding Cascadia’s flagship community from vision through delivery.
Shirazeh is a study in contrasts. At work, she is hyper-focused, exacting and confidently no-nonsense when the moment calls for it. Away from the pressure of a deadline, she is playful, generous and self-effacing, with an easy laugh and a genuine sense of adventure. Curious and creative by nature, Shirazeh loves painting, exploring new places and spending time in nature.
But her builder’s mind never completely switches off: even on vacation, she catches herself studying buildings and redesigning them in her head.
With more than 22 years of international experience in architecture, urban design, construction and real estate development, Shirazeh sees the big picture without ever losing sight of the details. Her work ethic is extraordinary: she takes ownership of whatever needs to be done, whether or not it fits neatly within her role, and delivers with exceptional focus and competence.
Firm and no-nonsense when required, Shirazeh is equally committed to building trust, mentoring others and helping teams succeed. She is equally passionate about helping other people grow.
For Shirazeh, what is built matters enormously — but so do the trust, relationships and stronger people created along the way. It comes as no surprise that her industry leadership was recognized through Connect CRE’s 2025 Canadian Women in Real Estate Awards.
