Hamed joined Cascadia as a Foreman in 2019 and, through successive promotions, now serves as Construction Manager, overseeing construction across the company’s portfolio. A civil engineer with more than two decades of combined experience in Iran and Canada, he previously served as Construction Director for 28 metro stations, coordinating a team of approximately 110 people. His Canadian experience spans duplexes and townhomes through wood-frame residential and large mixed-use concrete construction.

Spend any time working with Hamed and the first thing you notice is his warmth. Soft-spoken and unfailingly respectful, he is the kind of person who will quietly take on whatever needs doing — without fuss, and with a calm competence that makes even difficult tasks feel manageable.

Family sits at the centre of Hamed’s life. Growing up in Iran during uncertain times taught him resilience, responsibility and a deep appreciation for stability. Today, his ideal day is refreshingly uncomplicated: barbecuing, sharing a beer with family and friends, and spending time with his son.
