As Safety Manager, Courtney oversees safety across Cascadia’s active construction sites and contributes during pre-construction. With seven years of industry experience, including four with Cascadia, she brings particular knowledge of concrete construction and finishing stages.

Courtney began as a first aid attendant and worked her way into safety leadership. Today, she is helping introduce a digital safety program designed to make site processes more consistent and accessible. Her work protects people while helping projects remain compliant throughout the entire construction progress.

Most of Courtney’s world outside work revolves around her two-year-old son. Their best days are spent outdoors, preferably on or near the water. She also enjoys soccer, paddleboarding, discovering new coffee shops and special-effects movie makeup — perhaps an unexpected creative pursuit for someone who spends her workdays managing construction safety. Home is equally lively, shared with Apollo, a German shepherd, and three cats: Rayne, Sage and Jasper. Montreal remains especially meaningful because of the family, memories and loved ones connected to it.

Courtney values Cascadia’s genuine family feeling and the way colleagues invest in one another’s growth. It connects directly to how she views safety: not as rules for their own sake, but as the work that ensures everyone gets home safely to their family. Her colleagues describe her as level-headed, fair and highly organized, making sure to consider the possible outcomes before making a decision. She approaches safety with a singular purpose: everyone will leave the site as healthy as they arrived.
