As Chief Investment Officer at Cascadia, Ankita oversees the company’s acquisitions, partnerships and underwriting. Her work shapes which projects move forward and sets up the financial and partnership structure that carries each one from early analysis through to completion and exit. She has 20 years of experience in development, financial analysis, underwriting and team leadership, and has underwritten projects worth more than $10 billion across residential, commercial, mixed-use, retail, rental and condo development.

Ankita grew up in Delhi and spent her youth living in several different cities, which shaped how she sees the world. She enjoys all kinds of puzzles and reading biographies of business, sports and political leaders. Outside of work, she does yoga, walks the Vancouver seawall, and spends time with her husband and daughter. Her personal rule is to take a moment to think before responding — it suits someone who enjoys looking beyond the obvious answer.
